The Pine Bluff School District is the largest school district in the Pine Bluff Metropolitan Statistical Area of Arkansas. With over 5,000 students and 500 administrators. The district has 14 schools, however a millage was passed on February 14, 2006 to reduce this to 10 schools. This millage gave several million dollars to be used to renovate several of the districts buildings.
