Pimlico High is a rather small, community based high school found in Tasmania, Australia.

With just over 350 students, Pimlico High is well known for it's one-on-one teaching. This general practice of the school has ensured much success in the past and ensures much success in the future.

Founded in 1972 Pimlico High has played a resounding role in the development of the Davenport Shire of Tasmania. Now, one of Tasmania's major cities, Tasmania has experienced phenomincal growth as a result of the establishment of Pimlico High.

Achievements of Pimlico High are based upon sport, music and academics. A prestigious achiever, Pimlico High is renound for its high achieving students.

Pimlico High is often confused with it's sister school, Pimlico State High School located in Townsville, Australia. However, these schools share a sisterhood in relation to student exchange programs, academic comparisons, annual sporting competitions and 4th-yearly fetes. The 4-th yearly fetes shared between the two schools have become infamous among the Eastern coast of Australia. People have been known to travel far-off distances to attend the fetes and it is little wonder why as they have become 'the' event to attend. The next fete will be held on 27 March, 2008.
