[edit] Unpacked version?
Is there an unpacked version of this script? I think there is much that I could learn from this. Lupin 16:07, 6 August 2005 (UTC)
- I've had a go at unpacking this myself, although Pilaf's version would probably be superior. See Wikipedia:Wikiproject_User_scripts/Scripts/livepreview.js. Lupin|talk|popups 12:15, 14 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Localization
Can you add functionality that localize the button [Live Preview] according to the language site setting (wpLanguageCode). For Vietnamese (wpLanguageCode='vi') the button should be called [Xem thử ngay]. 193.52.24.125 08:01, 14 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Preview bugs
I installed this with wikEd. Since then have noticed problems previewing statements like {{#ifeq|text|text2|then|else}}
In my tests with similar code, the preview will show "text2" (or whatever it evalutes to). My tests were run with User:Will Pittenger/Archive Indexer. Compare the two previews for that page.
Also, you appear to be ignoring <nowiki> tags at least some of the time. Will (Talk - contribs) 09:07, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Options?
Are there any Live Preview options? Cacycle tells me that you have the ability to change the signature to show my actual sig. Will (Talk - contribs) 09:10, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Template expansion in Live Preview?
Any chance that you will be able to expand template inside the Live Preview box? Will (Talk - contribs) 09:11, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Conflict with Wikipedia:Tools/Navigation popups.
Just a note that User:Pilaf/livepreview.js now seems to be semi-conflicting with Wikipedia:Tools/Navigation popups after a recent change in livepreview.js (?). When installing both LivePreview and NavPopups in my monobook.js, the intro paragraph no longer appears in the popup when hovering over a link. When commenting the LivePreview code in my monobook.js, NavPopups works again as it did previously. —XhantarTalk 08:08, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
