Talk:Pillsbury Doughboy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'm not sure how it works but I did a search for the Pillsbury Doughboy with Google and found the following page that has content nearly identical to what is found here. It appears to me as though the content here could have been copied from the other page (http://www.adage.com/century/icon06.html)--but I'm not sure what to do.
Wikipedia: "Perz originally conceived Fresh as an animated figure, but changed his mind after seeing a stop-action titling technique used in the opening credits for The Dinah Shore Show. A 3-D Doughboy doll of clay was then created at a cost of $16,000. Paul Frees (the voice of Rocky and Bullwinkle's Boris Badenov) was chosen to be Fresh's voice."
Adage site: "Although Perz had originally conceived His Doughness as an animated character, he changed his mind after seeing a stop-action tilting technique used in the opening credits for "The Dinah Shore Show."
The decision was made to create a 3-D Doughboy doll of clay at a cost that seemed like a small fortune 34 years ago -- $16,000." Black Wolff 00:06, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
When poked in the stomach, a sign of affection and thanks for his excellent products, he lets out a soft, warm chuckle.
Am I the only one who thinks ths sentence is really weird? I don't know what to change it to, though. 68.230.25.52 18:57, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Recent "CENSORED" edit
Regarding the recent Fallon 47.exe edit, please see this guideline regarding profanity.
Seems to me that reference doesn't add much to the article, so it should be deleted, not censored. 3Idiot 14:12, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
