pilin leon became Venezuelas second winner in paegent.She has another last named which is Lanz.She has family in the United States like Carlos Paiva and his family (yanett lugo,francys paiva,and carlos paiva).She is right now living in Venezuela,Maracay.She is no longer in show business,but now living peacefully with her family.

many PDVMarina ships were named after venezuelan beauty queens, specially those that won international beuty contests like miss universe and miss world, but since the 2002/2003 oil strike the venezuelan government changed the ship´s names.

Ms. Pilin Leon was also one of the many venezuelans who supported the strike.
