Pilton, Rutland

Pilton is a small village and civil parish in the county of Rutland in the East Midlands of England.
It is a mile or two south of Rutland Water, and near North Luffenham, Wing and Lyndon. To the east of the village is the site of the former Pilton Brick & Tile Works which was owned by the Earls of Ancaster
The small parish church is dedicated to St Nicholas.
According to the 2001 census, Pilton parish had a population of 39.
