Pilsley is a rural village in Northeast Derbyshire, near Chesterfield. Many people think that Pilsley and Lower Pilsley, a smaller village just below Pilsley, make one village, but most of the locals disagree.

Pilsley has an Anglican church, St. Mary's, two primary schools, a post office, & even a Kingdom Hall building for Jehovah's Witnesses.
