"Pilot" is an episode of the television comedy series Hope & Faith.

The very first episode of Hope & Faith begins with Hope making breakfast and shouting for everyone to come down and eat. When no one responses she makes the alarm go off which alerts everyone.

At breakfast everyone begins talking about Aunt Faith who is a celebrity that's just been killed off her soap, "The Sacred & The Sinful". Hope reminds her husband Charley that Faith borrowed his car- then they hear a crash which means it's Faith.

Hope tries to comfort Faith who is re-watching her death on the soap. Faith is able to enjoy picking outfits for Sydney. Hope buys lingerie and in the middle of it all she gets a call from Sydney's school.

Hope rushes immediately to the school and learns Sydney skipped lunch and English to go shopping with Faith. The teacher suggest Sydney doesn't go to the homecoming dance. Hope agrees but Faith uses her celebrity to convince the teacher that she'll do a fundraiser- a bake sale with Sydney. The teacher agrees and Hope is furious.

Hope's fury leads her to a little fight with Faith that has the whole family running for cover! Later that night Hope overhears Faith telling Sydney a story that portrays Hope as the good person. Faith and Sydney oversleep but it's no worries because Hope baked for them.
