Pilika (Suikoden)

Pilika is a ficitional character who appears in Suikoden II in the Genso Suikoden series of video games.

Pilika was born in the Solar Year 455 in Toto with her parents Marx and Joanna. When she was five years old Luca Blight, Rowd and his Highland Army attacked the Unicorn Brigade(young soldiers for Highland) setting up the City-State. He killed the entire brigade apart from Riou and Jowy who escaped by jumping of a cliff into a river. As Riou was saved by Viktor and Flik, Jowy floated and was found by Pilika near her village. She helped heal his wound and in that time she became very attached to Jowy ending up calling him her Uncle. Marx and Joanna became very attached too. Later on when Luca Blight attackes Toto and the surrounding villages Pilika became one of the few survivors as Luca killed her mother, father and most of the other villagers making her an orphan so when Jowy, Riou and Nanami found her they looked after her. Because of the Rune Of Beginning (or the Bright Shield and Black Sword runes) Jowy and Riou (who she was quite fond of) fell apart going on opposite sides, becoming enemies. She stayed with Riou for most of the game at the castle that is built at North Window but in an effort to save Riou she is used as a distraction and pushed back to Jowy who from then on becomes her adoptive father and looks after her. She lives with Jowy Blight up until he is defeated by Riou and his army. Jowy decides to send his wife Jillia Blight and Pilika Blight to Harmonia where he had set up a home for them both.
