Pignataro Maggiore is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about 40 km north of Naples and about 20 km northwest of Caserta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,572 and an area of 31.7 km2.[1]
