What information indicates that his middle name was Charles? The DoCB article doesn't have this.. Fawcett5 17:29, 27 September 2005 (UTC)
- Well, I'm a bit late for this answer, but concerning the first name, you can have a look at the French version of the DoCB it mentions:
- LE SUEUR, PIERRE, (Pierre-Charles)
- That means his usual 1stname was Pierre, but as shown there, it's possible the complete 1stname was Pierre-Charles, it's rather common in french to have a composed 1stname, like Jean-Marie or Pierre-André.
- In this case Charles isn't a middle name, it's part of the complete 1stname Pierre-Charles.
