I am requesting this merger because nobody I know uses the term "North Carolina Triad" anymore. It's always "Piedmont Triad" or just "Triad". Almost all the television stations, newspapers, businesses, and even the airport use "Piedmont Triad". So, I say stop the confusion and merge! --TinMan 19:31, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
