Pierre de Bréville

Pierre de Bréville (1861-1949) was a French composer.

He studied with César Franck among others. He is perhaps best known for his songs, but he also wrote much chamber and vocal music, and an opera, Eros vainqueue. His music was influenced by Franck, Chausson, Magnard and Debussy.
