Pierre Gervais

Pierre Gervais (Born October 20, 1961 in Trois-Rivières, Quebec) is currently the Head Equipment Manager for the Montreal Canadiens of the NHL.

From 1977 to 1982, Pierre Gervais was Equipment Manager in the QMJHL with the Trois-Rivières Draveurs and the Sherbrooke Castors. He also participated in the Memorial Cup in 1978, 1979 and 1981. Pierre Gervais was Equipment Manager with the AHL Sherbrooke Canadiens from 1982 to 1987. He won the Calder Cup with them in 1985. He joined the Montreal Canadiens as an Assistant Equipment Manager in the 1987-88 season. He won a Stanley Cup championship with the team in 1993. He was promoted to head equipment manager of the Canadiens in 1997.

He was selected by Wayne Gretzky as one of two equipment managers to travel with Team Canada for the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City and the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin. He was also a member of Team Canada which won the 2004 World Cup of Hockey.
