The Piedmont Unified School District (PUSD) is comprised of the seven schools in the city of Piedmont, California.

The district maintains high academic standards, and many people move to the area so that their children can attend the schools. [1] The district's mission statement reads

Piedmont Unified, an exemplary school district committed to public education, is dedicated to developing independent learners who are responsible, competent, collaborative, compassionate, and intellectually curious with a strong sense of self and community. Through quality instruction and shared leadership, the district will impart knowledge and promote creative and critical thinking in a safe, nurturing, and challenging environment.[2]
