"Pieces of a Dream" is the first single from the Japanese R&B (J-urban) Chemistry

This was the first single from the duo that had won the ASAYAN held in Japan. Due to winning a contest similar to the American Idol shows, success was expect of the band. The single however went beyond all expectations and stayed at number the number one spot for nearly ten weeks straight. Once it fell from the number one spot, it charted for another twenty-two weeks. This was also the third highest ranking single for 2001.
