Pichincha Province

Pichincha is a province in Ecuador. Its capital is the city of Quito, which is also the nation's capital. The province contains the Pichincha Volcano. Pichincha borders the provinces of Imbabura, Cotopaxi, Esmeraldas, Manabí, Los Ríos, Napo and Sucumbíos.

Pichincha has the ISO 3166-2:EC code EC-P.

The last remaining members of the Tsachila tribe live in Santo Domingo de los Colorados.

The province is divided into 9 cantons. The cantons, with their capitals in parenthesis, are:
