Pi Sigma Alpha

Pi Sigma Alpha (Π Σ Α), National Political Science Honor Society, is the only honor society for college and university students of government and politics in the United States. As of 2005, there are 621 Pi Sigma Alpha chapters on college and university campuses across the country. Pi Sigma Alpha is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies. One of the purposes of Pi Sigma Alpha is to stimulate "scholarship and intelligent interest in the study of political science," according to the Articles of Incorporation.[1]

Many members of Pi Sigma Alpha are also members of the American Political Science Association (APSA).[citation needed]
