[edit] Proposed merge with photosynthesis

I think the Phycobilisome should remain an independent page, with links to Photosynthesis. Their role in the evolution of photosynthesis, and their biochemistry will grow in much detail in the next decade. Such a merge seems inappropriate. Photosynthesis must be an overview of the whole process. This component deserves its own article. -R. S. Shaw 21:10, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
