The Phytalmiinae are a subfamily of tephritid fruit flies.

The Phytalmiinae are grouped into four tribes:
- Acanthonevrini (76 genera, 281 species)
- Epacrocerini (4 genera, 7 species)
- Phascini (6 genera, 14 species)
- Phytalmiini (4 genera, 22 species)
Seven species in five genera are not included in any of the above tribes.
