The Phyntos Wasp is a species in the fantasy MMORPG Asheron's Call.

It is a small wasp that inhabits many areas of Dereth. The Phyntos Wasp comes in many species. The most common types are the red, blue and gold varieties.

Red Phyntos wasps are common near Holtburg and Shoushi. The blue Phyntos wasps are spread evenly throughout the eastern part of the continent and are common along the coast lines especially.

The gold Phyntos wasp is found almost exclusively in the Direlands (though it has also been sited near Eastham) and is quite dangerous due to its spell casting ability.
