Category:Photonics

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Photonics is the science and technology of generating and controlling photons, particularly in the visible and near infra-red light spectrum. Photonics as a science is closely related to quantum optics and optoelectronics, with somewhat unclear boundaries between these fields. The overlap between all of these fields and "optics" is unclear, and different definitions are used in different parts of the world and in different industries.

The main article for this category is Photonics.
