Phillip Zikang Yao was born in Wollongong, Australia, a small town near Sydney. At four months old, he was sent to live with his relatives in China until the age of 2. He came back to Australia to rejoin his family. At age four, he moved with his family to New York City. He schooled at Public School 9, and then the Delta Program in M.S.54. Then, he went to Trinity School. He is destined for great things.
