I didnt realise Lahm was rated the best defender in world cup history. What has he done to justify this claim? He has finished 2nd and 3rd in the two world cups he has competed in, hardly the record of the best ever world cup defender. I would suggest removing this statement.

Well, he is German. So, him being called the best defender is justified. Kingjeff 22:59, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
