The name of the subject of this article is spelled two different ways in the title itself and within the article: Parmelee and Parmalee. Two authoritative biographies of the Wright brothers both spell it -- Parmalee -- using the letter 'a' twice. Those books are 'The Bishop's Boys' by Tom Crouch and 'Wilbur and Orville' by Fred Howard. An article about the man in Wikisource spells the name using the letter 'e' three times.
