Phillipsburg is a city in Phillips County, Kansas, United States. The population was 2,668 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Phillips CountyGR6.

Phillipsburg is located in the middle of Phillips County in the northern part of Kansas, approximately 20 miles from the Nebraska border. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.1 km² (1.6 mi²), all land.
