Phillip (character)

Phillip is a character from Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

Phillip is depicted as the only companion to Lord Victor Quatermaine, and a snob. He is the rival of Gromit, and hates Anti-Pesto. Strong and fierce, but not especially intelligent, he assists his master in any way he can. He blocks Gromit's way when he tries to help Wallace on two occasions:

  • When it is revealed that Wallace is the Were-Rabbit.
  • When Wallace goes on the rampage in Tottington.

Phillip ends up chasing Gromit in a biplane 'dog fight'. Despite his best attempts, he manages to create more havoc for Victor than help, by nearly pushing him off the roof of Totttington Hall. Also, his plane explodes after crashing near a fairground. Eventually, he falls out of the sky and onto an inflatable replica of Tottington Hall, which deflates when his teeth puncture it. He is last seen with his teeth firmly lodged in Victor's backside, having mistaken him for the Were-Rabbit.
