Philippa Forrester

Philippa Forrester (born 20 September 1968 in Winchester, Hampshire) is a British television presenter and producer as well as an author. She is the daughter of retired darts player Alistair Forrester, and was named after her uncle, Philip Forrester.

Forrester first worked for the BBC as a presenter on CBBC along side Toby Anstis until 1994, she then went on to host many programmes including Tomorrow's World, Barking Mad, The Heaven and Earth Show and Robot Wars.

Philippa also co-presented the BBC's coverage of the total solar eclipse of August 1999. At the end of the same year she was also part of the corporation's team covering the turn of the new Millennium.

Forrester was duped into appearing on the spoof documentary Brass Eye's notorious 2001 paedophilia special.

She currently appears in TV ads for Lloyds Pharmacy.

Forrester is married to wildlife cameraman and producer Charlie Hamilton James. The couple have 3 sons; Fred, born in 2000 and Angus, born October 2003, and Arthur born late 2006.
