Philip Parkin

Philip Parkin (born 12 December 1961) is a Welsh golfer. He attended Texas A&M University in the United States and won the British Amateur Championship in 1983. He played on the European Tour from the mid 1980s to the mid 1990s. He was the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year in 1984 and made the top forty of the Order of Merit in 1985 and 1986, but wasn't able to build on his early success. Since leaving the tour he has worked as a golf commentator for Sky Sports and as a golf coach.
