Philip Johnson-Laird

Philip Johnson-Laird (1936 - ) is a psychologist and author of several notable books on human cognition and reasoning, including Psychology of Reasoning: Structure and Content (1972, co-author Peter C. Wason), Mental Models: Toward a Cognitive Science of Language, Inference and Consciousness (1983), Deduction (1991, co-author Ruth M. J. Byrne) and Human and Machine Thinking (1993).

He is currently the Stuart Professor of Psychology at Princeton University.
