Phil Senior (born October 30, 1982) is a professional footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper at Conference National side Northwich Victoria.
Senior made his first impact on the football scene at the tender age of 16 when Huddersfield manager Peter Jackson named him on the Town bench for a FA Cup tie against Wrexham in 1999.
Since then he has been behind a few keepers in the Town pecking order such as Nico Vaesen, Martyn Margetson, Scott Bevan, Ian Gray and Paul Rachubka.
But when he does play some of his performances for Town were exceptional. He even got to play against the millionaires of Chelsea in an FA Cup match in January 2006. The only thing he lacks is height, he is one of the shortest keepers playing football at only 5'11".
Just after Town lost in the Football League One play-offs to Barnsley in May 2006, the manager, Peter Jackson decided not to renew his contract as he wanted someone who would give more competition to Rachubka, so he signed Matt Glennon from St. Johnstone.
Since then Senior has signed for Northwich Victoria on a free transfer.
