pHILM #1 was a 10" vinyl single by Coil under the alias ELpH on the newly formed Eskaton label under catalogue number Eskaton 003. This single featured a version of "pHILM #1" with vocals, unlike the Born Again Pagans version.
The release was limited to 2,000 black vinyl copies with stamped numbers on the back cover. An edition of 50 clear vinyls come with unique hand painted covers. Another version, an artists pressing, also exists in an unknown amount with hand painted covers.
This release included a poster of Born Again Pagans, stamped with catalogue number ESKATON 004.
The vinyl is etched as follows:
Side A: EARTHLINGS! GO HOME
Side B: STARS SPLASH IN THE SLIVER ANSWER BACK
Vocals for the song "pHILM #1 (Vox)" are: "Is it harder to answer or easier to try, To make all the questions ask themselves why?"
A remix of pHILM #1 titled "Philm (Sleeper Mix By COH)" appeared on the CoH album, Москве.
