I think this is a great way to lose the weight. I have and wow I love the new me and so does everyone else, but I will say I didn't get addicted but you have to keep the diet and excercise going afterward or else it will all come back.
I start a diet tomorrow that requires me to take these pills, I just hope I dont get addicted to them. I also hope that my liesure use of marijuana doesnt effect me taking these pills.

[edit] Phentermine
I think this the best method of weight-loss.
[edit] Phentermine...Best Methods for weight loss??? EXERCISE!
I have been on this Phentermine for over a year now. It has for some reason helped me be able to control my asthma better, this of course kept me going back for more. I haven't noticed much weight loss difference from the drug. It doesn't suppress the appetite as well for me. I was told that when it stops suppressing the appetite to stop taking it for 2 days then start back again. This worked, but I didn't notice any kind of weight loss til I started walking almost every day. I started walking to help reduce the stress, and clear my head. I started doing 2 miles per day for a couple of months, then went to 5 miles, and sometimes 8-10 miles. It just depended on the weather and my mood, but it was this that really gave me a difference in the way that I looked and felt. It felt great! The Phentermine is addictive, but I don't notice a side effect when I miss taking it, other than bloating sometimes. I have however noticed that after a long period of taking this drug I have major adrenaline rushes..."Like, I have to just keep going til things are done, no matter what". I have also noticed that I think more clearly, and remember things better. I also seem to explode if given any kind of conflict by family members over anything at all. As long as I'm getting exercise or my long walks in while taking it, then I'm fine., but if I'm not getting the exercise or walks with it, then I get unbelievably angry while undergoing anothers attempts to cause me unhappiness or stress. I don't know if it's really do to the medicine, or if it's just being a mother of a teenager, but I do tend to see things far beyond what I would normally see them. I also get way more angry about things than I normally would, and this isn't from any kind of withdrawl...It's while I'm on the medicine. I feel as though I'm way stronger, yet very tired most of the time due to sleeplessness. I don't get much sleep at all, maybe 4 hours if I'm lucky... Until I miss a day or two of taking the medicine, then on those days I can sleep all day and night. I only take 1 pill per day, and it's always in the morning when I first wake up. Although they say that it only lasts a short time when night comes "I become a zombie NOW". It starts off that I'm laying in bed for a few minutes, I'm very happy to be there, It feels great!, then, I start feeling my heart pumping faster and faster, then I'm hearing it beating, then I start getting nervous that it's just going to jump out of my chest, that only lasts for a second and I'm up doing something to get my mind off of it. Sometimes it just causes me to take a trip to the kitchen to get something to eat because I figure if I eat some bread or something that it will help absorbe the medication and calm things down. It seems to help sometimes, but that defeats the purpose of it as a diet pill...If I'm grabbing something to eat at 1 or 2:am. I don't normally believe in eating after 6:pm. I feel that anything after that just goes right to fat when you go to sleep. Any way, to shorten this I'll just end by saying "The very most healthy way to diet is with walking, stretching, and eating less amounts of food more times per day". I don't even believe in taking a tylenol for a headache, I believe in laying down and sleeping it away., but here I am on this medication for over a year now, taking one each and almost every day! Hair grows in places that it shouldn't, this never happened before taking this medicine, so I have to wonder if it is also related to something in it. I'll have to remember to ask my doctor about that one. Sometimes I feel that It's converting me into a male, but I'm female! Sometime I also think that it is causing me to think "to much", making me feel as though I'm just mentally loosing it. "But for some reason...I Breath Better, and don't get the asthma attacks like i used too". Go figure that one out? "BE CAREFUL" , I don't know of any kind of drug that doesn't have some kind of side affects. Everybody is always going to react to medicines differently, because our body chemicals vary from the different kinds of food and beverages that we put into our bodies. I am a pop drinker. I don't touch coffee or tea, but I do drink a lot of pop. From the time that I wake til the time that I go to bed that is basically all I'll drink. I'm sure this adds to my sleeping problems. But I have no problems sleeping on those days that I don't take the pill. Every time I feel myself thinking that I need the pill or find myself scrambling in my purse getting upset that I can't find it..."I Stop Taking Them for a couple of days", just to show myself that I don't need them. But I'm sure I'm still addicted, because then I want to get back on them just to have energy enough to get something done around the house, or to just breath better. [edit] Spam
Should a mention be made of the high occurrence of the word "Phentermine" in spam? Maerk 13:29, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Spam
It's mentioned.
[edit] Re: phentermine
I think it is not a best method of weight-loss. Unless you are not afraid to get addicted to it.
[edit] No Information on Phentermine Abuse?
Though I am certainly not the one to write it, there is painfully little information available concerning the unfortunate abuse of Phenterminie as a drug. Due to the fact that it is ultimately a form of amphetamine - and with its ready availability online - it would seem to me as though this drug is possibly abused in ways similar to Adderall or other amphetamine drugs. I think this important information to put out there to help prevent people from making poor decisions concerning their bodies and what they choose to put inside of them.
[edit] Phentermine is Highly addictive
As an online pharmacy affiliate I can say that Phentermine is highly addictive. Reorders rate at our sites are VERY high. When person starts taking Phentermine - he usually never stops. So think twice before ordering it and always consult your physician and start exercising.
I am taking Welbrutrin for depression...Is it safe to take both???
First and foremost: you need to talk to your doctor before doing anything like this or believing anything you hear on the internet. However, I've been prescribed Adderall XR (30mg) for over a year, and for a little over 6 months I've been taking Wellbutrin XL (150mg); these were both prescribed by the same doctor. Since Adderall contains amphetamine salts, and Phentermine is an amphetamine, I've got a hunch that wellbutrin and phentermine wouldn't be "TERRIBLY unsafe". (as the unknown person has stated below) I've actually noticed that wellbutrin helps take the edge off when I take it with Adderall. Due to Phentermine's high abuse potential, I think wellbutrin might be more effective in breaking the habit if one finds him/herself addicted. This is all based on personal experience and mere speculation; I am not a doctor, so don't take my word for it, talk to a medical professional. CKYSibley 13:06, 19 March 2007 (UTC) CKYSibley
Wellbutrin AND Phentermine- this is TERRIBLY unsafe! I am not yet sure of how the two medications interact, but I took both medications together(Wellbutrin to quit smoking and ended up with severe depression that lasted several months. Be VERY careful, talk with your physician about this
[edit] phentermine w/synthroid
Is it safe to use phentermine with synthroid? Wine2003 16:07, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- Wikipedia can not give medical advice. Please consult a physician. --Bk0 (Talk) 17:29, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
Since I am not a doctor, I cannot say for sure whether or not combining phentermine and synthroid is safe, there are too many unknowns that make this topic difficult to address. However, I have heard reports that individuals with hypothyroidism have taken phentermine and synthroid without experiencing adverse reactions, but each person is different, and negative drug interactions could take place without a person noticing any immediate obvious symptoms.
The best thing to do is to avoid searching the internet for some random person to tell you it's okay, and to bring the topic up with the doctor that prescribes the synthroid to you. - CKYSibley 12:49, 19 March 2007 (UTC) CKYSibley
