Note that the correct syntaxt for a html commnet is <!-- -->
- there is no exclamation mark in the closing tag. If you put one in it is treated as part of the commnet, as is everything until the first correct closing tag. On the word association game this has resulted in the main word being merged with teh second branch as the next closing commnet tag is after the header, etc for that game. You can quickly check that all your markup (not just commnets) are as you intend them by clicking the "Show preview" button before saving the page. This is also a good way to catch typos, etc. Thryduulf 14:12, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Rabble
Hi there. I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article The Rabble, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the article (also see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:The Rabble. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] List of New Zealand musicians
- You can only use prod once. It is now a contested deletion. . If you want to delete it, it has to go through Articles for deletion. I will place a note on the New Zealand Wikipedians notice board to get wider consultation. Capitalistroadster 04:37, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

- Hey PhatePunk, I'm wanting to expand the list of NZ musicians sometime, and I think its worth having, can i be helped to understand why the prod? I was around in the industry for the first punk revolution in enzed and have lots of stories to tell, although many wont be verifiable so that will need others to help. whatever, i want to see as much as possible about ALL NZ music stay in Wiki, and that means I'll help you as well if I can. moza 12:55, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
- sorry, i dug deeper and now i see whats happening..I guess it makes sense to create the article for each new entry if possible, there are so many possible articles there will be a huge quantity of red in the list. I dont really see anything wrong with either approach, why do you want to delete the earlier list? Does it confuse the person searching for a kiwi musician?moza 13:17, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
- yes actually i agree, and I have said so more or less at the nz page, and pointed out your strategy, which is great. I would like to see discussion even before prod, but thats just my personal pref, my real feeling is that improvement to music pages transcends all this. cheers..moza 13:58, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
