Lord Snowdon is the charity's patron, Ed Stewart as President and Sir Cliff Richard and Rolf Harris are Vice Presidents.
Its mission is "to promote and encourage people with and without physical disabilities to come together on equal terms, to achieve complete integration within the wider community and to make more of life together"[citation needed].
Phab will celebrate 50 years of inclusion at a launch at Westminster, House of Commons in February 2007[citation needed].
Its near namesake Fab ice lollies ran a promotion during the 1970s allowing those buying a lolly automatic membership of Phab and a free green and yellow badge[citation needed].
