Evo: Phase One is a video game console in the seventh generation to be a 'forthcoming Media Center PC with gaming compatibility to be produced by Envizions Computer Entertainment and released in December, 2006. Similar to Phantom Entertainment's Phantom console, the system is intended to be capable of playing existing and future PC games as its primary source of media. The system will also have DVR and media center functionality.'

Evo: Phase One media entertainment console has gone on sale via the internet since October 20, 2006. The price is $679.99US (80 GB HDD) The system will ship with the Akimbo video on demand application pre-installed, plus, customers can apply an additional discount on over 1,600 games from the Evo: Direct store upon purchase of their EVO unit.
