[edit] code for Zimbabwean dollar

Can you explain in more detail why you think the code for the redenominated Zimbabwean dollar is still ZWD? --ChoChoPK (ēƒēƒPK) (talk | contrib) 05:16, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

I am a market data analyst for a major financial data provider and as such this is my business to know. We have actually received a notice from the ISO confirming that the currency code for Zimbabwe will remain as ZWD. I may add that all financial companies were under the impression that the currency code would change to ZWN - the confusion was widespread.

I guess it would be wise to stick with "ZWD" sense Pgcohen seems to know what he's (or she's) talking about and the ISO Website sill has "ZWD" ā€“ Zntrip 15:41, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
