The PFTS is the larger of Ukraine's two main stock exchanges (the other being the USE). Approximately 220 companies are listed on the PFTS, with a total market capitalization around $20 billion. For comparison, this is approximately one thousandth of the market capitalization of the United States' flagship exchange, the New York Stock Exchange. The PFTS celebrated its 10th anniversary in July 2006. The largest trader by turnover on the exchange since 2005 is Kyiv-based Dragon Capital (www.dragon-capital.com).
