Pfitsch (Italian: Val di Vizze; German: Pfitsch) is a comune (municipality) in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 100 km northeast of Trento and about 45 km north of Bolzano (Bozen), on the border with Austria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,676 and an area of 142.3 km2.[1]

The municipality of Pfitsch (Val di Vizze) contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Caminata, Prati, and, San Giacomo.

Pfitsch (Val di Vizze) borders the following municipalities: Brenner (Brennero), Freienfeld (Campo di Trens), Mühlbach (Rio di Pusteria), Mühlwald (Selva dei Molini), Sterzing (Vipiteno), Vintl (Vandoies), Finkenberg (Austria), Gries am Brenner (Austria) and Vals (Austria).
