Talk:Peugeot 406
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article is intended to help enthusiasts to enjoy their 406 in safe and sensible conditions
No it isn't. This article is a general encyclopedia article about this particular car model, aimed at non-enthusiasts and the general reader. Therefore I have removed all of the non-encyclopedic and irrelevant "tuning tips", etc. This sort of thing is too specialist amd belongs elsewhere. In addition it was not written in the appropriate style for this article. Hopefully this won't be controversial, but if you contributed these sections, please try and get a feel for what wikipedia is all about before indignantly reverting, or whatever. [edit] Could it be any worse?
This might be a serious contender in the "Worst Wikipedia Article on a Car" category! It contains more POV than probably all Proton articles collectively, in fact the infobox might be the only POV-free fragment! It is stuffed with factoids and opinions that should have never made it there, fails to follow a host of Wikipedia policies and guidelines, both regarding automotive articles and general, it makes teeth ache and small children cry. Please help! Bravada, talk - 19:27, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
Agree - ridiculous POV to disguise fact 406 is just a French Honda Accord. Tried to fix.66.229.151.43 19:43, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Some maturity please
The above comments could be a bit more, you know, grown-up. I would like to see a citation proving the 406 is "just a French Honda Accord" please. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.38.160.165 (talk) 17:21, 16 January 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Changed one weblink

[edit] Article copies text of external website?
Many parts of the article are word-for-word (or copy-and-paste) identical to text at peugeot.mainspot.net. From the writing style of other articles on the latter site I'd judge that the text in our article is copied from that one rather than the other way round. The article does not credit peugeot.mainspot.net or include an External link to it. --John Stumbles 11:57, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
