Nice job. I agree that this should be an article. Hell, I searched for it, because I wanted to know if it was a marketing scam or not (and if it is, it's epochal) and the first place I thought to go was wikipedia, and then all I find is no page and a raging debate... At least I'd like to see the page of which the debate is about and a nice heading at top telling me why the article might be unreliable. That's rather what wikipedia is supposed to be about.

Anyway, my point in posting here, besides moral support, was to say you should add a section called the "Wikipedia Deletion Controversy" so when people get to this page they can know what's happening. The exact up-to-the-moment type of page that wikipedia is supposed to have to begin with.--Gatfish 00:54, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

I also agree that there should be an article. I've been following the Wikipedia controversy over Lonelygirl15 at my blog. I'm very frustrated that individuals who have conflicts of interest continue to ludicrously maintain Lonelygirl15 is not a notable person. TimB 03:56, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
