[edit] Images for List of gangs in Grand Theft Auto series
Hello. I noticed that you are intending to acquire screenshots of gangs in the GTA series, and I would like to assist in that. I now have all gangs from GTA III and may move to Vice City and San Andreas soon. I've inserted the GTA III screenshots on the article, but we may put in more screenshots later. Drop we a line at my talk page for any comments. ╫ 25 ◀RingADing▶ 13:56, 22 January 2006 (UTC) ╫
[edit] Not Vandalizing
I'm not vandalizing, I'm deleting crap that some idiot made about. If you won't let me delete it, delete it yourself. bob548
- I applied the first two warnings, somebody else applied the final. Assuming you do not do blank the page again, I cannot do anything further. In addition, the afd clearly states not to blank the article. You have no reason to blank out that article, so therefor it is still considered vandalism. PeteShanosky 03:30, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
- The reason I'm blanking out the article is because the article is about me (with a lot of made up nonsense). bob548
- Althought that may or may not be true, you can just wait along for the afd to conclude, which appears to be strongly on your side (deleting) anyway. PeteShanosky 03:35, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

Hi there...I just received a warning about vandalism, but the only information I've added was to the entry for _Hedda Gabler_...and I know the information is correct. What's going on? thombee.
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:GROCK.PNG
Thanks for uploading Image:GROCK.PNG. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 08:40, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WikiProject: Organized crime
- Mr. Shanosky,
- Just wanted to thank you for joining the Wikiproject. Up to this point I hadn't thought there was much interest on the subject. Thanks again and looking forward to your contributions ! MadMax 21:43, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for noticing me. I hope to get moving on the project as soon as possible. So far I've written up a short article on John Scalise. PeteShanosky 22:23, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
- Great job! MadMax 01:37, 21 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding your proposed Broadcasting WikiProject
I would love to help out. If you have any questions you can respond on my talk page or email me at dcbjms1988@hotmail.com. Again I would be interested. -Daniel Blanchette 02:46, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] You removed a genuine edit
Hi there, you just reverted a genuine edit to the page "Peg Putt", which was intended to correct an inaccuracy. At the 2002 Tasmanian election, Putt did not out-poll the Liberal Party of Australia, as stated, she out-polled the Liberal leader, Bob Cheek. In fact, the Liberal Party easily out-polled Putt's Green Party at that election - see the official figures at http://www.electoral.tas.gov.au
That said, my edit contained a typo, which I will fix.
You are guys are often too quick to jump on something about which you know absolutely nothing!
- Please accept my apologies. I messed up, didn't look like an actual edit. I'll leave a remark on your talk page as well. PeteShanosky 15:16, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for the award
Hi, I just wanted to thank you for the kind award. I'm not sure quite what I did to deserve it, but thank you anyways. I do appreciate the fact that you spent the time to create your own award and that you think I am deserving of it. I'll keep fighting those vandals. -- malo (tlk) (cntrbtns) 03:59, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
==Welcome to VandalProof== Thanks for your interest in VandalProof! You've been added to the list of authorized users, and feel free to contact me or post a message on VandalProof's talk page if you have any questions. AmiDaniel (Talk) 03:34, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Don't lean on me man
Because you can't afford a ticket, I'm back on Suffragette City. IT'S ALRIGHT! 207.230.255.3 15:32, 11 April 2006 (UTC) PEACE
- Stop trying to increase your edit count by leaving multiple warnings on my talk page, you tool. I got the first one. People on RFA notice when you leave two warnings that say the exact the same thing so you can get above your paltry edit count. Furthermore, your user box displaying your edit count is unneeded, as well as your userbox that says you want to be an admin. You can't be an admin with 250 edits, idiot. Tell me when you do something worthwhile. 207.230.255.3 15:36, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
- Furthermore I didn't vandalize your talk page, idiot. I left a message. Maybe you've heard of using the talk page to talk? What are you going to do, block me? Oh wait...you can't. 207.230.255.3 15:37, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
- Quite a temper you've got there. I don't really have a problem with you, I left the second message on your talk page because nothing can go beyond a final warning. I then remarked of your message on my talk page because you had no reason to leave one; you vandalized a page and then I reverted it. I have no idea why you are getting so upset over a minor issue. PeteShanosky 15:40, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
- You actually left me three warnings on my talk page. So much for 'final warning' eh? Thanks there vigilante vandal cop. 207.230.255.3 15:50, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] PeteShanosky Gold User Award
Thanks for creating the award! I've taken the liberty to present myself with this pretigous award. Did you get a meth head three year old to draw it, or a trained ape? It looks like the skilled work of either. Either way, I am a gold user! (by PeteShanosky standards.) 207.230.255.3 16:02, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
- It was supposed to be a sarcastic award, purposely drawn in paint sloppily. Why you continue to bother me, I do not know. PeteShanosky 16:06, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] VandalProof 1.1 is Now Available For Download
Happy Easter to all of you, and I hope that this version may fix your current problems and perhaps provide you with a few useful new tools. You can download version 1.1 at User:AmiDaniel/VandalProof. Let me warn you, however, to please be extremely careful when using the new Rollback All Contributions feature, as, aside from the excessive server lag it would cause if everyone began using it at once, it could seriously aggitate several editors to have their contributions reverted. If you would like to experiment with it, though, I'd be more than happy to use my many sockpuppets to create some "vandalism" for you to revert. If you have any problems downloading, installing, or otherwise, please tell me about them at User:AmiDaniel/VP/Bugs and I will do my best to help you. Thanks. AmiDaniel (Talk) 06:49, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WikiProject Organized crime
- Hello Mr. Shanosky,
- I thought you might be interested to know several subjects on the talk page regarding the WikiProject are currently up for discussion, including a possible merge/collaberation with WikiProject Mafia. Granted there isn't an official project as yet (as we're currently short two members), I'd certainly be interested to hear your thoughts on the subject if you have the time. [edit] VandalProof 1.2 Now Available
After a lenghty, but much-needed Wikibreak, I'm happy to announce that version 1.2 of VandalProof is now available for download! Beyond fixing some of the most obnoxious bugs, like the persistent crash on start-up that many have experienced, version 1.2 also offers a wide variety of new features, including a stub-sorter, a global user whitelist and blacklist, navigational controls, and greater customization. You can find a full list of the new features here. While I believe this release to be a significant improvement over the last, it's nonetheless nowhere near the end of the line for VandalProof. Thanks to Rob Church, I now have an account on test.wikipedia.org with SysOp rights and have already been hard at work incorporating administrative tools into VandalProof, which I plan to make available in the near future. An example of one such SysOp tool that I'm working on incorporating is my simple history merge tool, which simplifies the process of performing history merges from one article into another. Anyway, if you haven't already, I'd encourage you to download and install version 1.2 and take it out for a test-drive. As always, your suggestions for improvement are always appreciated, and I hope that you will find this new version useful. Happy editing! --AmiDaniel (talk) 02:58, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Please fix my user page
Someone has been vandalizing it non-stop and could you please boot them since your a member of the counter vandalizim squad? Thanks if you do. JoePomrink 02:07, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
- As a member of the Wikipedia:Counter Vandalism Unit, I check recent changes with the software VandalProof and then revert vandalism if I see it. However, I have not caught any of the vandalism to your page in the act, but I cannot deny that it is there. I am not an admin for Wikipedia so I cannot issue a block. After reviewing your history bar, the chances of getting a block are very slim, seeing as the vandalism was by several different IP addresses. It is very possible that they are the same person, but Wikipedia does not instantly block an IP address after one offense as far as I know, unless it is serious. You can however, contact an admin about this if you wish. I'm proud to know that you came to me with your problem, but I'm sorry, there's nothing I can really do about it besides watch your page a bit more closely. PeteShanosky 14:11, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
Well thank you for the advice and thank you for trying to help me. JoePomrink 23:38, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. Contacted an administrator, and he was nice enough to help us out. PeteShanosky 00:35, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re User:JoePomrink
Hi Pete! No worries. Inform when it's ok to unprotect the userpage. I'd not prefer a range block so that would be fine. -- Szvest 00:37, 6 June 2006 (UTC) Wiki me up™
