[edit] Welcome

I'm glad you've finally gotten a Wikipedia login. You should probably put some link on your user page like this:

to make it clear that you've been around and been contributing for some time before you created your login. (Were these contributions from as early as November 2002 [1] yours, or from someone else with the same IP?)

The Watchlist is probably the most useful feature I use regularly that can't be used by non-logged in users. It helps to change your settings so that you automatically start watching every page you edit by default, unless you uncheck the "watch this page" box. --Jim Henry | Talk 15:24, 1 September 2005 (UTC)

I'll put in a list of Articles and Discussions I've contributed to at some point. Not all those edits are mine - it seems like that IP address is a proxy server that all contributions from my workplace have gone through - certainly there are quite a few things in there that I didn't contribute to, but that it's very likely my colleagues may have done. --PeteBleackley 15:44, 1 September 2005 (UTC)

Welcome also on my part. Actually, it's a bit late for a welcome since you have been around for quite a while already, but... well, anyway, here we go, with the official template:

Welcome!

Hello, PeteBleackley, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

[edit] Conlang WikiProject

Hello!

It has recently been brought to my attention that you might be interested in participating in the new WikiProject concerning constructed languages. The project has been created to observe, maintain, organize and improve all articles on Wikipedia relating to constructed languages. If you are interested, please add your name to the "Participants" section, and also feel free to add anything to the project page, the to-do list, or leave a comment on the talk page. Also, please check out the constructed languages portal.

Thank you!
