Petushki

Petushki (Russian: Петушки́) is a town in Vladimir Oblast, Russia, located on the left bank of the Klyazma River, 67 km west of Vladimir. It lies on the Moscow-Vladimir railway line. Population: 16,482 (2002 Census); 20,144 (1989 Census).
It was established as a settlement near the railway station of Petushki, which was opened in 1861. It was granted town status in 1965.
