Petters Group Worldwide

Petters Group Worldwide is a privately-held company based in Minnetonka, Minnesota in the United States.[1][2] They operate in various fields, including merchandising, emerging technologies and media and marketing.

Amongst other things, they are known for purchasing failed (but well-known) companies for the value of their names. One such example was their 2005 purchase of the Polaroid Holding Company (formed when Bank One purchased the assets of the bankrupt Polaroid Corporation, including the "Polaroid" name itself).[3] It also owns Sun Country Airlines.

They have over 3200 employees worldwide.[1]
