Petrus Riga

Petrus Riga[1] (c.1140-1209) was a French poet. He is known for his work Aurora, a versified Latin paraphrase of the Bible (Biblia versificata).

He was a canon of Rheims cathedral, and wrote many works. He was an influence on John Gower.[2]
