From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Petruchio is the primary male character in William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew.

Romeo and Juliet also includes a Petruchio (a bit role or a ghost character, depending on the souce) who is one of Tybalt's companions. In the 1996 Baz Luhrmann version, Petruchio was played by Carlos Martín Manzo Otálora.
