Petrovice u Karviné

Petrovice u Karviné  (Polish: Piotrowice koło Karwiny , German: Petrowitz) is a village in Karviná District, Moravian-Silesian Region, Czech Republic. Population: 5 499 (2006 est.). 16,2% of the population are the Poles.[1] It lies on the border with Poland. Petrůvka River flows to the Olza River in the village.
