Petro's Chili & Chips

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Petro's Chili & Chips is a fast-food chain specialising in the Petro, a mixture of corn chips, chili, cheese, green onions, tomatoes, and sour cream. The concept was invented at the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee where Petro's is still headquartered. The name, which is derived from petroleum, is a reminder of the energy theme of said World's Fair.
