Petersburg High School (PHS) is the public high school for the Southeast Alaskan community of Petersburg and the Petersburg City School District. The current principal is Dave Morris.

Petersburg High School is well known for its wrestling, basketball, and cheerleading programs which have both currently and historically produced above-average records.[citation needed] In the past, Petersburg also boasted a state championship drama[citation needed], debate[citation needed], forensics team[citation needed] which was rescinded in the late 90s due to budget cuts and was recently refounded. Petersburg also competes in cross-country, track and field, volleyball, baseball, and swim/dive.
Petersburg is a class 3A school according to the Alaska School Activities Association.
